Well, it has been a while I messed this up a little. I wrote more on the bottom. Here are some of my favorite shots from this summer. They are kind of out of order. Enjoy!

So tired after the zoo, she couldn't even finish her snack.

Here I am! Large and in charge at 5 and a half months!

Quinn doing her best flamingo stance!

Yep, she got into my make-up. The impressive thing was that she got the mascara on her eyelashes!

Quinn in her new big girl bed!!

Getting dressed.

My loves.

Getting ready for ballet.

Watch out baywatch!!

Just a regular day, hanging out with a giraffe.

Holy Smokes....has it really been since January that I have updated this thing? I guess with facebook I feel like I am doing well posting pictures and such. I know some of you are not on there and I apologize. I will post lots of pictures today, if I remember how! I can't believe that 10 months ago Quinn had just turned 2! Now, she is 2 months from turning 3, she is such a big girl. She has changed so much and we just can't believe how grown up she is now. *sigh*

We are settled in Florida, it is hot as ever here. Still in the 90's in October, can't wait for the cooler weather to be here. We are headed to Disney next weekend so hopefully it will be nice then.

I am now 5 1/2 months pregnant with our second daughter. She does not have a name quite yet, we are still working on it. We are having a lot more difficulty this time around. So, I will include a belly shot. I am the size of a small orca, I guess the saying is true that you get bigger faster with your second. Thankfully, I haven't gained much weight, my belly is just huge. I am hoping is evens out here soon!

Busy girl!

Today we had a fun day. Here are some pictures of Quinn playing outstide. She is wearing a scarf that my mom, her Muma, made for her. Mom knitted Quinn and I matching scarves which is very fun. In this shot Quinn is enjoying her scarf.
In this one, not so much. She had just woken up from her nap and was so angry that I bundled her up, but it was cold outside!!!! Poor pumpkin.

Earlier in the day we had gone to see Olivia, Quinn's favorite pig! Olivia has her own series of books that Quinn adores. At the time being, they are the only books that she lets us read to her. She is very picky. We have 4 of the books and need to get the last one. Bobby and I have read enough Olivia for a lifetime which is why we have to get that last one...for our own sanity! I think we have all of the memorized, as does she. She can recite them to us.

So Olivia was at the Gap today making a special apperance. We tried to get a picture with her but Quinn was a little freaked out that she was so big. She was all about her before we saw her and after we saw her, but she was not having it at all while we were standing next to her. We attempted to get some pictures and came out with one. Oh well.

Our princess leading us to lunch. I just adore the pigtails and I am loving the fact that she has enough hair for them now!

These pictures are from a few days ago. Here in CG housing we have a playgroup and it is so fun. We go to fun places all around the area, it is so nice. On Friday we went to the Discovery Bay Musuem. It is a children's musuem that is unlike anything I have ever been too. We always have so much fun, plus military families get in for free! Here Quinn is playing in the rock area. She was busy shoveling for a long time.

This is Quinn's favorite area. It is a little stream that has plastic frogs and fish in it. All of the toddler play in there for forever! She always has a blast finding all of the water animals.

That's all for now. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

Quinn singing her ABC's.

I am attempting adding video to this for the first time, hopefully it works. You will have to pause the music that I have in the backgroung in order to hear what Quinn is saying.

She is singing her ABC's. This was taken a few weeks ago andsShe needed a little help with the middle. She can do it all now, I just have to get it on video!

Sorry the pictures have a funky glare, I think something is up with my flash. Here are some of our pictures from Christmas this year. I uploaded them the opposite way I wanted so we are starting with Christmas morning after we opened gifts. Quinn was obviously exhausted and was lounging on the couch reflecting all the fun gifts she got. She is so silly. Here is Quinn putting on her new babies blanket. She walked around with it on her head all day while pushing her baby in the stroller. It was the cutest thing ever.

Here is the princess going through her stocking. She got a new toothbrush and some fun toys.

Here was our living room on Christmas morning after Santa visited. It looks like there is a ton more than there actually was. Quinn got a new table and chairs so that is taking up a lot of room. She came out that morning and was so excited that Santa had come.

Here is Quinn and I on Christmas Eve under the tree. We had just gotten back from mass.

Daddy and Quinn.

Quinn opening her one gift on Christmas Eve. We only open one and save the rest for Christmas morning. She got a book about Elephants, her favorite.

Our completed Gingerbread house!

Quinn working on the Gingerbread house. She did really great on the first side but was busy eating the candy that would have been on the second side. We were all really impressed with her artistic skills!

We had such a nice Christmas. We had some neighbors over for dinner and had a wonderful time. We are so thankful for everything we have and more importantly for each other. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

A visitor!

Here are a few pictures from Kim's visit. We grew up spending our summers together as my brother Dan and I would be in Florida with family. Kim and I haven't really spent much time together lately as we both have busy lives and we live on opposite coasts. I spent some time in Flordia a few months ago and saw her and she decided to come and visit us. We had such a nice time and I loved showing her this area. This is, by far, my favorite place that we have lived so I always enjoy showing it off.

We went lots of fun places. I showed her Alamo Square, Lombard Street, Peir 39, Chinatown and lots of lookouts of the bridge. We had a fantastic time!

Quinn's birthday!

Sorry it has been a while since I have updated. We have had a busy month! On the 19th we celebrated Quinn's second birthday, I can not believe she is 2. She is so fun and cracks Bobby and I up daily. We had a pretty low key birthday. We have celebrated with our playgroups throughout the month. On her actual birthday we had a playgroup party which was fun. We did some crafts. My cousin Kim was in town with us so that was fun. We went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen which is one of our favorites. We then took the princess to Starbucks for her favorite, a pumpkin steamer. It is so cute. It is just milk warmed up with a squirt of syrup in it. I always told myself that I would not be one of those moms who gives her child Starbucks....man was I wrong! She loves it and everytime we go get coffee now she asks for a "punky steamer."
So we enjoyed a coffee and then went home to have cake and open presents. The cake was really yummy. Kim is on South Beach so she didn't have any, she has so much more will power than me, I am a sweet-aholic. After cake Quinn opened her gifts. She got lots of good stuff, her big present from Bobby and I was a wooden kitchen, it is darling. She kept making us hot tea all night. I just love that she is pretending lately with her toys, it is so fun to see her use her imagination.

After all of the she was so hyped up on sugar that she ran around the house like a mad woman!! It took hours for all of that sugar to wear off! All in all it was a fun day and I still can't believe that my baby is not so much a baby anymore.

Lake Tahoe

Over the summer it hit me. We only had a year left here in this wonderful area! Once I thought about the weekends that Bobby would be underway or have duty and weekends where we just want to hang out I started to freak out! We barely had any time left to enjoy the area. I started to make a list of things that we HAVE to do before we leave. One of those things was to go to Lake Tahoe. The Coast Guard has condos there that the rent for a reasonable price for us. We have talked about going for years. Once I made that list I started researching them and rented us one for Thanksgiving. We went for the entire week and had so much fun. My parents joined us as well as my brother Rob and his wife Jeanne and we were so glad that they came out.
The condo was on the canal and about 1/4 mile from the lake. We took walks daily to go see the beautiful lake and to get Quinn out of the house. The mountains surround the lake and were snow capped. It was truly breathtaking!

We spent the week enjoying each others company. We ate, LOTS, and explored the town a little. Thanksgiving day was awesome. We grilled the turkey and got to look at the mountains. We spent the day cooking and preparing and had a great feast. We spent the rest of the night recovering. Bobby and I went to a casino and won some money so that was fun! Overall it was a great Thanksgiving.

The only thing I wish we could have done different is bring Mason. Sadly, dogs are not allowed. We found a kennel for him and he was well taken care of. He was fed his kibble with organic chicken and chicken broth. He got to sleep on a down pillow and went for 3 walks a day. He was fed a Thanksgiving feast as well so hopefully he had a good time, we sure missed him though. He would have loved Tahoe!
